Ina Garten’s Guacamole

My husband and I are currently living in Germany (only a few more months until we move back to California!) and given that we both grew up in the Golden State, we are accustomed to enjoying great Mexican eats on a weekly basis.  In an attempt to capture the flavors we miss, we’ve learned to make a few homemade favorites, such as refried beans, guacamole, and enchilada sauce.  Since we’re making chicken fajitas tonight, I whipped up my favorite guac – Ina Garten’s Guacamole.  Ina’s version of this green goddess is quick, easy, and consistently pleasant on the pallet.  I alter her recipe just a smidge by adding a few more dashes of  Cholula, omitting the tomatoes, and mashing the mix with a fork. Feliz Viernes!
