I am starting to think I am having some pregnancy cravings afterall. Last Wednesday, I set out to make two different types of pickles – high octane spicy pickled jalapenos (for my husband), as well as sweet&spicy pickles. I tested out The Comfort of Cooking’s Pickled Jalapenos (check out their blog for some beautiful food photography) as a surprise treat for my wonderful partner-in-crime and he loved them. I came across the sweet&spicy pickle recipe through the wonderfully titled blog, The Meaning of Pie. Note, however, that for this latter recipe, I omitted the green and jalapeno chilis, as well as cut the sugar in half.
